Alan M Hunt -
Professional Wildlife Artist
Alan is now an honorary member of HBA after playing an active part of our group for many years. Pictured here with one of his amazing paintings which he kindly donated in 2024 as a raffle prize with all the proceeds going to our Village Hall Fund.
Shirley Doyle -
Ceramic Artist
Shirley is the founder member of Hutton Buscel Artists. She likes to experiment with using materials such as recycled and granulated glass in her work. Her main theme is using the droplet shape by finding different ways of incorporating this into her work.
Diane Todd - Artist
Diane is the HBA Advertising Manager.
She mainly paints wildlife and domestic animals using soft pastels taking inspiration from surrounding nature and wildlife. She also enjoys exhibiting in galleries and art shows from around the region.

Kath Hudson - Mixed Media Artist
Kath is the HBA Treasurer.
She enjoys renovating old dolls houses, baking and making jams and chutneys from home grown produce. Kath also enjoys being creative using recycled items.

Jan Jennings - Wool & Fibre Artist
Jan is the HBA Secretary.
She works mainly with natural wool and fibres for needle and wet felting to create mostly landscape moorland pictures and animal sculptures.

Stasia Valentine - Artist & Jewellery Maker
Stasia's artwork is mainly oils and acrylic, but more recently has enjoyed mixed media. Alongside her artwork Stasia also makes dichroic glass jewellery incorporating sterling silver.
Rachel Asker - Artist
Rachel's artwork is mostly in acrylic or gouache and coming from a design background much of her artwork is inspired by patterns in nature and the coast.
Louise Thompson - Artist
Louise particularly enjoys using acrylics and draws inspiration from natural forms, especially landscapes and plants.
Moya Kay - Mixed Media Artist
Moyra works with mixed media using recycled plastics and unusual materials. She loves colours and form and pushing the boundaries on the norm to create something different, inspired by the unknown.
Lucy Hobkinson - Wildlife Photographer
Lucy has always had a keen interest in local wildlife and in more recent years has used her camera to capture what she sees.
Laura Cockayne - Professional Artist
Laura produces highly detailed work mainly using pencil.
Geoff Gibson - Artist
Geoff's first love is painting landscapes, something that has only intensified during a career in teaching that has taken him all over the world.
